Europe trades lower, Brexit remains in focus

European markets traded lower on Monday amid concerns surrounding tomorrow's vote in the United Kingdom House of Commons on the Brexit withdrawal agreement. Prime Minister Theresa May is expected to say later today, in her address before the House of Commons, that the parliament is more likely to block Brexit, than to allow London to leave the European Union without a deal.

The DAX fell 0.54% at 9:15 am CET with Wirecard AG losing 2.0% at 9:16 am CET. The FTSE 100 was down 0.44% at the same time. The CAC 40 was 0.67% in the red at 9:15 am CET. Atos decreased by 2.86% at 9:13 am CET.

The euro added 0.11% against the dollar to change hands for 1.1475 at 9:17 am CET.
