European futures point lower after Fed decision

European stock index futures indicated a lower open on Friday after the United States Federal Reserve decided to keep interest rates unchanged. Investors also digested the earnings report from Allianz and awaited data from the United Kingdom with industrial production, trade balance and GDP figures all due later in the day.

The FTSE 100 is seen 0.36% in the red, the DAX is expected to decline 0.29% and the CAC 40 is set to lose 0.24%. The euro was down 0.11 against the dollar to go for 1.1349 at 7:50 am CET and the pound decreased 0.19% compared to the greenback to change hands for 1.3037 at 7:51 am CET.
