GM names Suryadevara as CFO after Stevens retires

General Motors Co. announced on Wednesday that Chief Financial Officer Chuck Stevens will retire in March 2019.

Stevens, who has spent over 40 years at the firm and was appointed CFO in 2014, will be replaced by Dhivya Suryadevara effective September 1, 2018. Suryadevara currently serves as GM's vice president in corporate finance. Previously, she was vice president, finance and treasurer, between 2015 and 2017.

GM shares were down 0.14% at 3:30 pm CET.
