Kurdish fighters pull out from Manbij - Syria's defense ministry

Kurdish fighters are withdrawing from the Manbij area in northern Syria, the country's defense ministry said on Wednesday. Syrian army stated that "nearly 400 Kurdish fighters" pulled out from the area close to the Turkish border.

Previously, Iraq's military stated that US are set to pull troops from Syria via Erbil. Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron told his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin earlier today that the US-led coalition will continue fighting the Islamic State (ISIS).

Over the weekend, Russia confirmed reports about the Syrian Army's takeover of the strategically important city of Manbij.
