Man arrested after taking 21 hostage in Italy

Four people were injured and a 28-year-old man was arrested in Italy's town of Fiuggi around 60 km from Rome, after he took 21 people hostage after storming into local job training offices.

Even though the man was reportedly unarmed, a woman, three police officers and an officer from the Carabinieri were injured. The assailant reportedly first took the director of the job center and dragged him to a classroom with 20 students.

After getting immobilized with pepper spray by the police, he was taken to a psychiatric hospital in the nearby town of Frosinone.
