Police identify Thousand Oaks gunman

Authorities identified the suspected gunman in a mass shooting that occurred earlier on Thursday in Southern California. The attacker, who was confirmed dead, is believed to be 29-year old David Ian Long, although his motives remain unknown.

The gunman killed 12 people and wounded more than a dozen at the Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, California, when he opened fire during college night. "We have no idea if there is a terrorism link or not," the county sheriff stated earlier. One of the victims included the sheriff's sergeant, officials confirmed.
