Russia says Aleppo shells were filled with chlorine

Russian Ministry of Defense said its experts arrived in Aleppo, Syria, following an attack by militants which left dozens of civilians injured. According to Russia's preliminary findings, shells used in the attack were filled with chlorine.

"Groups from the observation posts of the radiation, chemical and biological protection units with special equipment stationed in Syria arrived in the area of shelling urgently. They work with the injured taken to medical institutions, monitor the situation in the area where the militants used poisonous substances," the ministry's spokesman said.
