Trump alleges Obama, FBI spied on him during campaign

United States President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Thursday to voice his allegations that former President Barack Obama and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) spied on him during his campaigning prior to the 2016 presidential election. The president slammed the alleged move, calling it "bigger than Watergate."

Trump tweeted: "Wow, word seems to be coming out that the Obama FBI “SPIED ON THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN WITH AN IMBEDDED INFORMANT.” Andrew McCarthy says, “There’s probably no doubt that they had at least one confidential informant in the campaign.” If so, this is bigger than Watergate!"

Meanwhile, the president also addressed the issue of collusion with Russia earlier, highlighting that the accusations against him on the issue are nothing more than "the greatest Witch Hunt in American History." He tweeted: 'Congratulations America, we are now into the second year of the greatest Witch Hunt in American History...and there is still No Collusion and No Obstruction. The only Collusion was that done by Democrats who were unable to win an Election despite the spending of far more money!"
