Trump: WH chief of staff Kelly to leave by year's end

United States President Donald Trump said on Saturday that White House Chief of Staff John Kelly will leave his post by the end of the year, according to Associated Press.

"We'll be announcing who will be taking John's place...I'll be announcing that over the next day or two," the president told reporters in front of the White House.

According to yesterday's report by the CNN, Kelly and Trump reached a "stalemate in their relationship" and even stopped talking to each other in the past few days. In November, US media wrote Kelly may quit as a result of Trump's decision to fire chief of staff's ally Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.
